I believe everyone possesses resilience and a capacity for healing and growth, no matter what they’ve experienced.
Are you carrying something that no one else seems to truly understand?
Maybe you and someone close to you experienced the same loss—but somehow, they’ve moved forward, and you’re left feeling stuck, alone in your grief. Or perhaps life has shifted in a big way—retirement, divorce, a career change—and the uncertainty feels heavier than you expected. You might find yourself wondering where your sense of purpose went… or if you’ll ever feel like yourself again.
If this resonates, you’re not alone—even if it feels that way right now.
Grief isn’t just about death. It can come from any kind of loss, and it often brings feelings of isolation, confusion, and deep emotional pain. It can be hard to find someone who will truly listen—someone who won’t rush you, fix you, or turn away from what you’re feeling.
That’s where I come in.
I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can show up exactly as you are. A place where your thoughts, feelings, and experiences are met with understanding—not judgment. Together, we’ll gently explore what you’re carrying, at your pace, in a way that feels safe and supportive.
My approach is client-centered, which means this is your space and your journey. We’ll focus on what matters most to you, drawing on your inner strengths while building new tools and insights along the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out—we’ll make sense of it together.
Healing doesn’t mean forgetting or “moving on.” It means finding a way forward that feels meaningful, grounded, and true to you.
You deserve to feel connected, supported, and at peace again.
A little more about me…
I share my home with my husband and three very lovable rescue dogs. I enjoy reading, spending time in nature hiking and skiing, and creating memories with family and friends.
Many years ago I left a corporate career to explore work that is more meaningful to me. Over the past 16 years, I have collaborated with a variety of clients who were facing challenges in their lives. From incarcerated women making plans for their post-prison lives, to geriatric clients adapting to changes in their living environment, to people facing life limiting illnesses, it has been an honor to accompany each of them on their unique journeys
There have been times in my own life when I turned to a therapist to find my way out of a dark place and back into the light, so I know that this can feel like a big step. I’ll meet you with respect, compassion, gentle listening, and a desire to see you achieve your goals.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” - Viktor Frankl
